Building Log and Rustic Furniture Since 1992!

We are a family business and have been building custom cabinetry since 1982.  In the
early 90's, we were equipping our hunting camp, and were dissatisfied with the quality
of the log & rustic furniture that was on the market.  We decided to build our own.  Our
log furniture grew to be very popular in our local area and eventually became the focus
of our business.

No Middleman!  We Design and Build Every Piece:

Our Artisans hand craft each of our hardwood beds and accessories one at a time.  It all
begins in the woods, where every piece of wood is carefully hand selected for character
and functionality.  We are Eco-friendly and select timber from standing dead Elm trees,
which have been decimated regionally by Dutch Elm disease. Our wood is then dried,
graded and treated for wood destroying insects.  Logs are carefully cut and hand crafted
into furniture that maximizes the natural beauty and potential of the wood.  Like all forms
of art, every piece of furniture is a one of a kind creation and no two pieces are alike.  We
spare no expense in the process of producing a truly premium quality piece of lifetime
furniture. Please feel free to contact us for any questions concerning our products.

Construction Techniques:

Our furniture is constructed using the greatest of care.  In assembling our products, as
a standard we hand cope or mortise all wood intersections.  Load bearing joints are
reinforced through the use of hardwood dowels.  We frequently accent the joint
intersections with hemp rope for a rustic western look.  In order to provide lasting
durability as well as accentuate the natural beauty of our wood creations, we finish our
products using an arduous 3 coat, hand burnished, linseed oil process.  Our table tops
are given an exceptionally hard and superior stain resistant surface through the
application of an additional 3 coats of catalyzed conversion varnish.  We accentuate the
natural beauty of our hardwoods through the use low sheen finishes, which yield a
heightened grain appearance while retaining the inherent character of the wood.

Internet Sales:

Our operation has recently grown to the point where we can offer a limited number of
products for sale nationally.  We ship curbside anywhere in the Continental U.S for $200
or less.
